About this fabric

Topola Slate from the Diffusion collection is a 95% polyester, 5% cotton fabric with a substantial 311gsm handle and a 25,000 Martindale rub test, making it suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery. In this colourway, the ground reads as a misty pale grey while the branches come through in a warmer taupe-brown stitch effect. The scattered circular motifs are picked out in a very soft powder blue, giving the design a fresh, frosted feel against the neutral base. Its 140cm width and 34.6cm horizontal by 32.2cm vertical repeat make the pattern easy to work into larger schemes without losing the open, drifting character visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use it on accent chairs, roman blinds or full-length curtains where the pale blue detail can sit comfortably against white, oak or brushed metal finishes. It works especially well in calm, light-filled rooms that need pattern without darkening the space.

Its airy grey ground and pale blue circles keep the tree motif calm and easy to layer.
