Fenadina grey

Equator Fabricfenadin/fa1/cle

Fenadina Grey shows a soft silver-grey ground with painterly stems and blossom-like blooms scattered across the cloth. The overall effect is airy and muted, with the floral colours sitting gently against the cool base.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven in a 95% cotton, 5% linen blend with a usable width of 138cm and a weight of 230gsm, giving it a mid-weight handle that works well for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The grey ground is cool and understated, while the design carries delicate flashes of blue, violet, white and the occasional warm accent that lift the surface without overpowering it. The visible weave has a natural, lightly textured finish that suits the fabric’s linen content, and the 69cm horizontal by 48cm vertical repeat gives the pattern a broad, flowing rhythm. It is dry clean only and iron safe, with no fire-retardant treatment noted.

How to use it

Use Fenadina Grey where you want a calm botanical that still feels polished: it works especially well in rooms with pale timber, brushed metals or chalky painted walls. The soft grey base makes the blues and lilacs read quietly elegant rather than bright.

Let the cool grey ground and soft painterly florals bring a calm, tailored lift to curtains or relaxed upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fenadina grey without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
