Ilinizas purple

Equator Fabriciliniza/fa1/sum

Ilinizas Purple has a washed, painterly look with airy lilac, mauve and muted plum blooms drifting across a pale ground. The design feels light and softly romantic, with the fabric’s open weave giving it a natural, textured character.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230gsm fabric has a relaxed handle that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The print combines dusky purple flower heads, soft pink-lilac washes and muted green stems, all softened further by the pale background and the visible slub of the cloth. With a 138cm usable width and a horizontal repeat of around 70cm by 46.5cm vertically, the pattern has enough scale to read clearly without feeling heavy. Dry clean only care and a cool iron finish make it a practical decorative choice for interiors that want colour without harsh contrast.

How to use it

This lilac-toned colourway works beautifully in bedrooms, sitting rooms or a calm garden room where the painterly florals can sit against white, putty or pale oak. Pair it with soft greys, chalky neutrals and brushed brass for a gentle, layered scheme.

A painterly lilac print that brings a light, airy softness to curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
