Daxby purple

Edenmuir Fabricdaxby/fa1/iri

Daxby Purple combines a bold oversized leaf motif with a cool, softly muted purple palette. The design feels airy and graphic, with pale grounds that let the berry and lavender lines sit clearly on the surface.

About this fabric

Woven in a 65% viscose and 35% polyester mix, this fabric has a substantial 505 gsm weight and is supplied at 139cm wide with a 139cm overall width and 70cm by 51cm pattern repeat. The visible surface shows fine, regular striping within each leaf shape, creating a textured look that reads crisp rather than heavy. In this purple colourway, the design is balanced by soft off-white sections, lilac-grey tones and deeper berry outlines, so the pattern feels fresh and slightly cool. It is suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, and should be dry cleaned only with a dry iron if needed.

How to use it

Use Daxby Purple on full-length curtains or Roman blinds where the large leaf forms can breathe across the window. The muted purple and ivory mix works especially well with painted wood in chalky white, stone, or charcoal.

Pair with pale linens or deep berry accents to let the layered leaf motif stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
