Macapa purple

Equator Fabricmacapa/fa1/ind

Macapa Purple from Voyage Maison’s Equator collection shows a lively painterly ring motif in cool violet, lilac and blue tones on a pale ground. The brushy circles give the fabric an airy, modern look with plenty of movement.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230gsm fabric has a soft but substantial feel that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The usable width is 138cm, with a 34.5cm horizontal repeat and 34cm vertical repeat, so the oversized circular pattern reads clearly across a window. In this colourway, the purple is cool rather than jewel-bright, with blue-grey and lavender notes that keep the design fresh against the light background. Dry clean only, with a cool iron if needed.

How to use it

Use Macapa Purple where you want a statement soft furnishing that still feels light and easy, especially in rooms with pale walls or grey-blue accents. The cool lilac and slate-violet notes pair well with brushed metal, oak, and other muted contemporary finishes.

The cool violet tones feel crisp and contemporary with a painterly finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
