Naura purple

Equator Fabricnaura/fa1/fig

Naura Purple has a painterly, washed effect that softens the bold abstract shapes across its pale ground. The lilac and plum tones feel airy rather than heavy, giving the design a fresh, contemporary look.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, Naura Purple has a natural, softly textured handle that suits curtains, blinds and other soft furnishings. The 230gsm weight gives it enough substance for confident drape while still keeping the cloth visibly light in the image. Its useable width is 138cm, with a full width of 145cm, and the pattern repeats vertically by 68.5cm and horizontally by 45.8cm. In this colourway, the watery lilac, mauve and deeper plum accents sit against a warm off-white ground, so the design reads calm and slightly romantic rather than vivid.

How to use it

Use it for statement curtains or a Roman blind where the large repeat can be shown off. The soft purple palette works well with washed oak, pale grey upholstery and crisp white paintwork.

Pair with pale woods and chalky neutrals to let the watercolor-like motif breathe.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
