Naura red

Equator Fabricnaura/fa1/pona

Naura Red brings a painterly botanical print to a warm, softly textured ground, with coral, rose and muted green leaves floating across the cloth. The red in this colourway reads more warm and terracotta-tinged than bright, giving the design an earthy, lived-in feel.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230gsm fabric has a natural, slightly slubby handle that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The usable width is 138cm, with a 45.8cm horizontal repeat and 68.5cm vertical repeat, so the trailing leaf forms have room to show their scale. In the swatch, the background sits as a creamy off-white, while the large petal shapes shift through coral pink, plum, olive and soft moss, creating a warmer, more muted take on the design. Dry clean only, with a cool iron if needed, and not fire retardant.

How to use it

Pair Naura Red with warm oak, putty walls and linen upholstery to echo its natural base. It works especially well in rooms that need a lively colour accent without losing a calm, botanical softness.

Use for statement curtains or a feature chair where the painterly leaf motif can soften the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
