Flora red

Diffusion Fabricfloracr/fa1/rus

Flora Red shows a lively botanical trail of stems, seedheads and meadow blooms across a pale ground. The red and pink accents give the design a warm, painterly energy without losing its light, airy feel.

About this fabric

This colourway uses bright crimson, berry pink and soft coral touches against a gentle ivory base, so the floral motif feels vivid but still breathable. The printed stems and seedheads sit over a tactile woven ground, with the texture visible in the cloth giving the pattern a slightly artisanal finish. At 600gsm, this is a substantial fabric, and the supplied specification states it is suitable for curtains, dry clean only, with dry iron care. The composition is 54% viscose, 20% polyester and 17% linen plus 9% linen, which helps explain the slightly slubby, natural-looking surface beneath the print.

How to use it

Use Flora Red for statement curtains in a room with pale walls, where the warm red notes can lift the space without overwhelming it. It also works well with worn timber, sage upholstery and creamy finishes that echo the soft botanical palette.

Pair with quiet neutrals or soft olive accents to let the lively print stay fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
