Flora purple

Diffusion Fabricfloracr/fa1/hea

A creamy ground gives this Flora Purple fabric a soft, airy feel, while the scattered botanical motif brings in lilac, plum and muted green detail. The overall effect is fresh and gently decorative rather than heavy.

About this fabric

Flora Purple from the Diffusion collection by Voyage Maison is a substantial curtain fabric, with a usable width of 138cm and a 35cm horizontal repeat and 45cm vertical repeat. The surface visible here has a linen-rich texture, which softens the floral print and keeps the cream background from feeling flat. Purple tones move from pale lilac to deeper plum, with small touches of olive and grey-green that add contrast without darkening the cloth. At 600gsm and dry-clean only, it is a weighty decorative textile that suits full-length curtains and other soft furnishings where the pattern can be shown clearly.

How to use it

Use this colourway in rooms that need a gentle burst of colour, especially where the soft purple florals can sit against ivory paint, pale oak or limewashed walls. It works well with layered neutrals and muted green accents, keeping the scheme light but not too sweet.

Pair with chalky neutrals and washed woods to keep the palette light and fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
