Isabela purple

Equator Fabricisabela/fa1/vio

Isabela Purple reads like a softened watercolour garden, with layered petals in lilac, misty sage and pale blue drifting across the cloth. The overall effect is airy and painterly rather than bold.

About this fabric

This colourway combines muted lavender, blue-grey and sage tones with small touches of yellow-green, giving the floral design a cool, mist-washed feel. Printed on a 95% cotton and 5% linen ground, it has a natural look that suits the gentle softness visible in the image. The fabric has a weight of 230gsm and a usable width of 138cm, making it practical for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. Its large 138cm horizontal repeat and 62cm vertical repeat support statement-scale pattern placement while keeping the overall effect calm and diffused. Dry clean only and cool iron if needed.

How to use it

Use it for relaxed curtains or Roman blinds where the lilac and sage tones can catch the light softly. It works especially well with chalky paint colours, pale oak and brushed metal accents.

Pair with pale woods and quiet neutrals to let the painterly colours stay airy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
