Jarvis purple

Equator Fabricjarvis/fa1/fig

Jarvis Purple from Voyage Maison’s Equator collection is a softly brushed botanical print with airy leaves scattered over a pale ground. The lilac, periwinkle and muted sage tones feel watercolor-light rather than saturated.

About this fabric

This fabric is made from 95% cotton and 5% linen, with a usable width of 138cm, a 69cm horizontal repeat and a 103cm vertical repeat. At 230gsm, it reads as a substantial decorative cloth, but the visible surface still feels soft and breathable rather than heavy or dense. The leaf motif is painted in translucent washes of lavender, grey-blue, misty green and the occasional olive note, all sitting on a crisp pale background that keeps the design fresh. Dry clean only and cool iron care suit its refined, softly textured finish, while the scale of the print gives it a relaxed, room-softening presence.

How to use it

Use this purple colourway where you want pattern without darkness: it works especially well for curtains, Roman blinds or cushions in pale rooms. Pair it with chalky whites, soft greys and washed timber to let the lilac and blue tones stay airy.

A breezy leaf print that brings a light, painterly lift to curtains and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
