Salvador blue

Salvador Blue in Voyage Maison’s Equator collection has a washed, watercolour look with pale blue, aqua and lilac areas drifting across a light ground. The effect feels airy and artistic rather than sharp or graphic.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230gsm fabric has the substance to work beautifully for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings while still keeping a relaxed handle. The visible design is an abstract, painterly motif with broad, clouded washes of soft blue, turquoise, green and violet over a pale background. Its 69cm horizontal repeat and 64cm vertical repeat suggest a large-scale pattern that will make a calm statement on a fuller window treatment. Cool Iron and Dry Clean Only care instructions suit a decorative textile that is intended to be kept crisp and well finished.

How to use it

Use Salvador Blue where you want colour without heaviness, especially in a room with white paint, driftwood tones or pale oak. The cool aqua and lilac notes work well in bright spaces that need a soft, fresh focal point.

Pair with pale neutrals or crisp white to let the watercolour blues stay fresh and airy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
