Altea blue
European Summer Fabricaltea/fa1/cob
Altea Blue brings a light, seaside feel, with palm silhouettes, clustered buildings and scattered birds drawn in clear blue lines over a pale ground. The overall effect is airy and sun-washed rather than bold.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% cotton and 140cm wide, this fabric has a naturally crisp, breathable handle that suits decorative curtains and lighter upholstery pieces. The design shows palm trees, whitewashed-looking buildings and tiny birds in a soft sky blue palette, with the motif sitting gently on the ground rather than feeling heavily saturated. Its horizontal repeat of 68.5cm and vertical repeat of 94.62cm create a roomy, scenic layout that keeps the print open and relaxed across larger drops. Dry clean only, with iron safe care, no bleach or fabric softener and no tumble drying recommended.
How to use it
Use Altea Blue to bring a coastal note to bedrooms, garden rooms or a relaxed sitting room, where the pale blue pattern can keep the space feeling fresh. It works especially well with white paintwork, rattan and natural linen textures.
A breezy coastal print that suits airy curtains, relaxed blinds or light decorative cushions.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Altea blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
