Bollu

European Summer Fabricbollu/fa1/mar

Bollu brings a washed aqua-blue seascape to life with fish, coral forms and shell motifs scattered across a pale ground. The artwork feels airy and coastal, with translucent layers that let the white base keep the whole design bright.

About this fabric

This 100% cotton fabric has a crisp, natural handle that suits lighter decorative use, and its 140cm width makes it practical for curtain and soft furnishing projects. The print shows fish, sea plants and shells in layered blues, teal and the faintest blush accents, giving the colourway a fresh marine feel rather than a heavy navy look. Because the repeat measures 45.67cm horizontally and 51.63cm vertically, the scale reads generously and the motifs have room to breathe across the cloth. Machine washable at 30 degrees max, with line drying and a warm iron, it is an easy-care choice for relaxed interiors.

How to use it

Use Bollu in a sunroom, beach house bedroom or casual living space where its pale aqua ground can keep the room feeling open. Pair it with bleached wood, chalky whites and soft sand tones to echo the fabric’s coastal palette.

A breezy coastal print that works best in rooms wanting a fresh, light, seaside feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
