Lagoon blue
European Summer Fabriclagoon/fa1/blu
Lagoon Blue has a pale, linen-like ground with an inky navy botanical motif that reads bold and coastal. The branching coral-style pattern feels crisp against the softly textured surface.

About this fabric
Woven in a substantial 535gsm construction, this fabric has the presence to work beautifully for upholstery as well as curtains and blinds. The cloth is made from 70% polyester, 20% viscose and 6% linen, with a dry-clean-only care finish and a Martindale rating of 30,000. In this colourway, the ground is a muted oat-meets-sand tone, while the motif lands as a deep blue-black, giving the design strong contrast without looking harsh. The large horizontal and vertical repeats of 68.79cm and 72cm reinforce the generous, statement-making scale visible in the swatch.
How to use it
Use Lagoon Blue on an accent chair, banquette or tailored curtains where the large coral-like motif can be seen properly. It works especially well with pale plaster, driftwood and navy accessories to keep the look fresh rather than overly formal.
Pair with chalky neutrals or weathered oak to let the inky motif stand out.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lagoon blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
