Firth blue

Ettrick Fabricfirth/fa1/sky

Firth Blue from Voyage Maison’s Ettrick collection shows a scattered thistle motif on a pale, softly textured ground. The design feels light and airy, with the blue flower heads and green stems standing out clearly against the calm background.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a natural, slightly open handle that suits decorative window and soft-furnishing use. The 230gsm weight and dry-clean-only care make it a practical choice for curtains, blinds and accessories rather than heavy upholstery. In this colourway, the thistle motif reads cool and delicate: muted blue petals with fresh green leaves and a gentle, weathered look on the pale ground. The 138cm usable width and 23cm by 31.5cm pattern repeat support a tailored make-up with a regular, easy-to-space motif.

How to use it

Use Firth Blue for relaxed curtains in a bedroom, kitchen or garden room where the soft blue-green palette can keep the scheme light. It pairs especially well with white paintwork, limed woods and muted stripe or plain linens.

A fresh, countryside botanical that works beautifully as airy curtains or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
