Hermione blue

Florabunda Fabrichermion/fao/bbl

Hermione Blue is a softly washed sky-blue floral with a painterly, hand-drawn feel. The scattered meadow blooms and fine stitched outlines give it a fresh but gently vintage character.

About this fabric

Woven in a 95% cotton, 5% linen blend, Hermione Blue has a natural-looking surface that suits its embroidered-style botanical print. The usable width is 138cm, with a 46cm horizontal repeat and a 94.3cm vertical repeat, making the tall stems and oversized flowers read clearly across larger drops. In this colourway the background is a cool, dusty blue that lets the white, pink, lilac and leaf-green flowers stand out without feeling bright or brash. At 230gsm it has enough body for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, while the dry-clean-only care keeps the fabric looking crisp and well kept.

How to use it

Use Hermione Blue where you want a calm, garden-room mood with a little romance: it works beautifully for relaxed curtains or a characterful Roman blind. Pair the soft blue ground with chalky whites, pale timber and quiet greens to keep the palette airy.

A painterly garden cloth that brings a fresh, softly nostalgic feel to curtains or light upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
