Berenson Aqua

Bampton FabricF4885-02

Berenson Aqua shows a cool, misted aqua tone with a gently nubbly woven surface that gives the colour a soft, breathable look. Its fine, even texture keeps the shade calm rather than bright.

About this fabric

This Berenson Aqua colourway from the Bampton collection is woven in a 140cm width and features an approximate vertical repeat of 7cm and horizontal repeat of 5cm. The cloth is composed of 46% cotton, 17% viscose, 15% polyester, 14% linen and 8% wool, which helps explain its crisp yet slightly tactile handle. Visually, the fabric reads as a pale blue-green with a silvery cast, and the weave softens the colour into a restrained, chalky aqua. It feels lighter and fresher than a deep maritime blue, making the surface look airy and understated.

How to use it

Use this soft aqua on upholstered chairs, cushions or relaxed curtains where you want colour that stays cool and bright. It pairs neatly with white woodwork, pale oak and washed neutrals, and the subtle weave stops the room feeling flat.

A quiet aqua that reads fresh and easy, ideal for softening a room without adding visual weight.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
