Arbour Sisal Wallpaper Old Blue

Arbour Sisal Wallpaper in Old Blue layers delicate trees and leafy branches across a softly creamy ground. Its pale blue-grey pigment appears lightly weathered, giving the botanical scene an airy, almost watercolour character.

About this wallpaper

This wallpaper is made from 100% sisal and has an approximate vertical repeat of 81cm and horizontal repeat of 85cm. The design shows overlapping tree trunks, loose branches and clusters of foliage in faded Old Blue, with warmer ivory and sand-coloured marks showing through the ground. Fine horizontal fibres remain visible across the surface, adding a subtle natural texture beneath the painterly pattern. The cool, low-saturation colourway feels quiet and gently aged rather than crisp or strongly contrastive.

How to use it

Use Old Blue across a bedroom, sitting room or softly lit hallway where its pale blue foliage can sit alongside chalky whites, natural oak and warm woven accents. Pair it with muted blue-grey upholstery to draw out the cooler leaves without losing the wallpaper’s creamy lightness.

A softly washed botanical scene in cool Old Blue, well suited to calm, light-filled interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
