About this fabric

This colourway has a cool, washed blue-grey tone that sits lightly on the cloth, giving the pattern a faded, chalky look. The design is part of the Bampton collection by Colefax and Fowler and the fabric is a practical 142cm wide, with a composition of 59% viscose, 25% linen, 11% cotton, 3% acrylic and 2% polyester. The small repeat, around 18cm vertically and 23cm horizontally, helps the motif feel evenly scaled and easy to live with. Its surface reads smooth but gently organic, with the pale blue marks keeping the overall handle soft and understated.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, bench or pared-back curtains where the soft blue can cool a neutral room. It pairs neatly with chalk white, dove grey and weathered timber for a calm, coastal feel.

A pale, airy blue that softens the animal motif and works easily across upholstery or curtains.
