About this fabric

Part of the Cosima Velvet II collection by Colefax and Fowler, this velvet is composed of 56% viscose and 44% cotton and comes in an approximate width of 140cm with no visible repeat. The colour reads as a misty sky blue with a slightly greyed undertone, so it feels fresh rather than bright. Its velvety surface catches the light unevenly, creating a calm clouded effect that adds depth without pattern. With its upholstered handle and soft sheen, it is well suited to seating and statement soft furnishings that need a relaxed but refined finish.

How to use it

Use this colourway on an occasional chair, banquette or headboard to bring a cool washed-blue note into a room. It pairs especially well with chalky whites, pale oak and brushed metal finishes.
