About this fabric

This colourway has a cool blue-green cast with a slightly weathered look, so the surface reads as layered rather than flat. The velvet pile catches the light in softer and darker bands, giving the cloth a quietly mottled depth across the whole swatch. It is woven in 56% viscose and 44% cotton, with an approximate width of 140cm, and no repeat is noted at V 0cm / H 0cm approx. The hand and visual density make it a strong choice for seating, where the tonal shifts can add interest without introducing pattern.

How to use it

Use this shade on an armchair, sofa or banquette to bring a cool, tailored note into a scheme with oak, walnut or linen. It also works well with chalky neutrals and aged brass, which lift the blue-teal depth without overpowering it.

Pair with warm neutrals or polished timber to balance the cool, softly lustrous surface.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
