About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230gsm fabric has a comfortable mid-weight handle that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The visible ground is a light, slightly nubby natural tone that lets the blue and violet motifs read clearly without feeling heavy. Large-scale stems, seed heads and stylised floral forms create an easy, decorative rhythm, while the cool blue palette keeps the design light rather than bold. With a 46cm horizontal repeat and 41cm vertical repeat, it will need careful pattern matching for a tailored finish. Dry clean only and cool iron if needed.

How to use it

This colourway works especially well in rooms with pale oak, painted white joinery or muted sage accents, where its cool blues can stay crisp. Use it for full-length curtains or Roman blinds to bring a calm, garden-inspired softness into the scheme.

Use for relaxed curtains or a statement occasional chair to let the painterly blues and lilac accents stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
