About this fabric
Woven in a 30% acrylic, 29% cotton, 27% viscose and 14% linen blend, this fabric has the substantial 565gsm handle of a hardworking textile, with a Martindale rating of 20,000 and suitability for curtains, blinds and upholstery. The pattern reads as a crisp herringbone rather than a print, with pale yarns breaking up the orange ground and giving the surface a relaxed, homespun texture. Its tone is warm and coral-leaning rather than bright tangerine, so it feels inviting and slightly sun-faded rather than sharp. The fabric is 142cm wide overall with a 140cm usable width, and there is no repeat to manage because the design is woven straight through. It is dry clean only and iron safe, with no fire-retardant treatment noted.
How to use it
Use Oryx Orange to add warmth to a sofa, occasional chair or bench, especially where you want colour with a textured, lived-in feel. It also works well for Roman blinds or curtains in a room with warm woods, plaster pinks or neutral linen finishes.
A warm coral herringbone that brings easy colour and texture to both upholstery and soft furnishings.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Oryx orange without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
