Whitley multi

Edenmuir Fabricwhitley/fa1/car

Whitley Multi shows a pale ivory ground lifted by sketch-like botanical stems and leaf shapes in softly varied colours. The palette feels airy and layered, with muted greys offset by flashes of ochre, red and teal.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven in 65% viscose and 35% polyester, giving the design a smooth cloth handle with enough substance for curtains, blinds and upholstery. At 505gsm it has a reassuringly weighty feel, and the 139cm width makes it practical for larger pieces and window dressings. The pattern repeat is 70cm horizontally and 62cm vertically, which suits the flowing, branch-like arrangement visible in the swatch. The colourway is mostly quiet and light, with the ivory background keeping the multicoloured leaf motifs fresh rather than busy. Small areas of yellow, red, teal and grey give the surface a lively but still refined character.

How to use it

Pair Whitley Multi with pale timber, linen neutrals and brushed brass to echo the warm ochre notes in the print. It works especially well in relaxed country-inspired rooms where the light ground can keep the space feeling open.

Use it for an uplifting, nature-led scheme with soft metallic neutrals and a few jewel-tone accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
