Nesting Multi shows a painterly canopy of birds, leaves and berries in a fresh, watery palette. The design feels airy and lively, with the pale ground letting each splash of colour read clearly.

About this fabric

This Voyage Maison fabric is composed of 95% cotton and 5% linen, giving it a natural, lightly textured handle that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The swatch carries a large 70cm horizontal and 65cm vertical repeat, and the scene unfolds across the cloth with nesting birds, slender branches and scattered berry-like details. In this colourway, the base looks misty aqua-grey, while mint, teal, soft gold and touches of coral and plum keep the pattern bright without becoming harsh. At 230gsm it has enough substance for a confident drape, and the cool-iron, dry-clean-only care suits a decorative interior textile.

How to use it

Pair this soft aqua multi with chalky whites, aged timber and rattan for a light country look. It also works beautifully against deeper blue-green paint, where the leaves and birds gain extra contrast.

Use with plain linens and painted wood to let the bird-and-foliage scene stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
