Ullswater green

Countryimpressions Fabricullswat/fa1/nmu

Ullswater Green shows a painterly country landscape in soft, watercolour layers of green, aqua and pale grey. The design feels open and airy, with tiny rural details drifting across the surface rather than sitting in a bold, formal repeat.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, giving the print a natural, lightly textured base that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The colourway is grounded in misty greens and cool blue-greens, with pale washes that keep the scene looking fresh rather than heavy. Small cottages, fields, trees and grazing animals appear in loose, sketch-like strokes, so the pattern reads as illustrative and relaxed. With a horizontal pattern repeat of 68 and a vertical repeat of 117, it is designed as a substantial scenic fabric with plenty of visual movement across the width. Dry clean only and cool iron care help preserve the soft finish of the cloth.

How to use it

Use Ullswater Green in a garden room, sitting room or bedroom where you want a calm, countryside feel. Its cool, diluted greens work especially well with linen whites, weathered oak and quiet sage accents.

Pair it with pale woods and chalky neutrals to let the painterly country scene stay airy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
