Seville green

Diffusion Fabricsaville/fa1/mea

Seville Green has a calm, watercolour feel, with loose blossom stems sketched over a pale sage ground. The palette stays light and airy, letting the floral movement read softly rather than boldly.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has the natural, slightly dry handle you expect from a cotton-linen blend, while its 230 gsm weight gives it enough substance for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The design shows slim branching stems and floating blossom heads in washed white, pale yellow and hints of olive and blush, all set against a cool sage-green ground. Its 70 cm horizontal repeat and 82 cm vertical repeat support the large-scale, trailing floral pattern visible in the swatch. With a usable width of 140 cm and dry-clean-only care, it is a practical decorative cloth rather than a heavy upholstery textile.

How to use it

Use Seville Green where you want pattern without weight: full-length curtains, relaxed Roman blinds or scatter cushions against painted timber and pale neutral walls. The cool sage ground keeps it fresh, while the blossom motif softens rooms with natural light.

A fresh sage ground with airy blossom stems suits light, layered window dressing.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
