Rosa red

Diffusion Fabricrosa/fa1/rus

Rosa Red is a painterly floral design in a soft, airy red-pink palette, brushed with pale mint and fresh white. The watercolour effect gives it a light, contemporary feel rather than a heavy floral look.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a natural, slightly dry handle that suits relaxed interiors. The large 70cm horizontal and vertical repeat supports its sweeping floral composition, which reads as softly layered blossoms rather than a tight all-over print. In this colourway, the reds are tempered into rose and raspberry tones, with the white ground keeping the overall effect bright and open. At 230gsm, it has enough substance for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, while the cool iron and dry-clean-only care reflect its decorative textile finish.

How to use it

Pair Rosa Red with chalky neutrals, pale oak and brushed brass to let the blush tones stand forward. It works especially well in light-filled rooms where the mint accents can read fresh and uplifting.

Use for statement curtains or a cushioned accent piece to bring a fresh, painterly lift.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
