About this fabric
Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230gsm fabric has enough substance for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings while keeping a natural, relaxed handle. The design reads as a rolling countryside scene, with watercolour-like pink hills, muted green fields and touches of lilac, stone and pale blue that keep the palette light rather than sugary. Its 140cm usable width and 140cm horizontal pattern repeat suit large scenic drops, while the 52.5cm vertical repeat helps the hillscape flow across the fabric. Iron Safe care adds everyday practicality, though it is Dry Clean Only and not fire retardant.
How to use it
Use Ambleside Pink for full-length curtains where the large scenic repeat can be seen to best effect, especially in a bedroom or sitting room with light timber and painted finishes. The soft blush ground works well with chalk white, faded green and warm neutral upholstery.
Let the painterly hills and pastel washes bring a gentle, storybook softness to a room.
