Delamere pink

Botanical Stories Fabricdelamer/fa1/blo

Delamere Pink brings the Botanical Stories design to life on a softly textured cream ground, with painterly flowers and foliage in blush, sage and moss tones. The overall effect is airy and romantic, with the pink blooms giving the print its gentle focus.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 140cm-wide fabric has the natural handle and lightly slubbed look that suits relaxed interiors. The printed design shows large-scale meadow flowers, seedheads and trailing stems in muted pinks, soft peach, yellow and layered greens, all lifted by the pale background. In this colourway, the pinks read dusty rather than bright, so the pattern feels mellow and softly vintage instead of sugary. It is dry clean only, with Iron Safe care, and should not be bleached, softened or tumble dried.

How to use it

Use it for curtains, cushions or a statement upholstered chair where the large floral repeat can breathe. It sits especially well with oak, aged brass and linen textures, which echo the fabric’s warm, natural tone.

Pair with warm neutrals and natural timbers to let the painterly florals stay soft and fresh.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Delamere pink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
