Countryhedgerow pink

Countryhedgerow Fabriccountry/fa1/cla

Countryhedgerow Pink is a soft, airy floral with a gentle blush ground and a watercolor mix of meadow stems, berries and seed heads. The overall effect is light and painterly, with the pinks kept delicate rather than sugary.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a naturally relaxed handle and a weight of 230gsm, making it suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The usable width is 136cm, with a full width of 145cm, and the design repeats every 68cm horizontally and 53cm vertically. In this colourway the petals, berries and foliage read in washed pastel pinks, lilacs, soft blues and sage greens against an ivory ground, so the pattern feels fresh rather than dense. It is dry clean only, though the cloth is iron safe, and it is not fire retardant.

How to use it

Use it for full-length curtains, roman blinds or scatter cushions where the blush tones can sit against oak, chalky paintwork and pale linen upholstery. Its soft pink palette adds warmth to a country bedroom or sitting room without overpowering the space.

Pairs beautifully with pale woods and washed neutrals for a fresh country look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Countryhedgerow pink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
