Countryhedgerow cream

Countryhedgerow Fabriccountry/fa1/daw

Countryhedgerow Cream pairs a soft cream ground with a loose meadow of delicate botanical stems, seed heads and airy blossoms. The palette stays pale and restful, so the design reads light rather than busy.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a comfortably natural handle and a mid-weight 230gsm body that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The cream base in this colourway keeps the hand-painted leaves, stems and flower heads washed out and airy, with muted blush, sage, grey and lilac accents lifting gently from the ground. Its 68cm horizontal and 53cm vertical pattern repeats create a broad, expansive rhythm that shows the meadow motif to best effect across larger drops. The overall impression is quietly romantic and easy to layer, with the Iron Safe finish adding practical confidence for everyday interiors.

How to use it

Use it where you want a light country softness rather than strong contrast: relaxed curtains, Roman blinds or accent cushions in pale timber rooms. It sits especially well with chalky whites, warm oak and brushed brass.

A softly coloured floral for curtains, blinds, or light upholstery with a gentle country feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Countryhedgerow cream without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
