Tabby Weave Oyster

Woven Fabric Fabric

Tabby Weave Oyster is a softly woven neutral with a dry, nubby surface and a gentle oyster-cream cast. Its tight tabby texture gives the cloth a calm, natural feel that reads lighter in the highlights and a touch warmer in the shadows.

About this fabric

This fabric shows a small, even woven structure with a subtly irregular slub that gives the surface a tactile, homespun character. The oyster tone sits between cream and beige, with a warm undertone that softens the overall look without becoming yellow. No performance features are noted for this fabric, so the appeal here is its texture and versatile neutral colour rather than technical finish. Because the weave feels balanced and medium in appearance, it can work comfortably for both upholstery and curtains where a quiet, textural ground is needed.

How to use it

Use Oyster to soften upholstered seating, window treatments, or headboards where you want a calm, low-contrast backdrop. It pairs especially well with pale oak, putty, stone, and other warm neutrals, letting the woven texture add interest without visual noise.

A quietly textured neutral that works across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
