Botanical Stories Fabricdelamer/fa1/sag

Delamere Green has a pale sage ground that lets the painterly flowers and leaves feel light rather than busy. The design reads airy and romantic, with fresh greens, mellow golds and soft blush accents lifting across the surface.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 140cm-wide fabric has the relaxed handle and natural texture you would expect from a cotton-linen blend. The visible finish is matte and slightly slubbed, which suits the hand-painted botanical artwork and keeps the pale green ground feeling soft. In this colourway, the foliage and flowers sit over a muted sage base, so the peach, mustard and blush notes stand out without becoming overly saturated. It is dry clean only, with Iron Safe care, and should not be bleached, softened or tumble dried.

How to use it

Use Delamere Green with light oak, painted timber or aged brass to echo its gentle garden palette. It would also bring a calm, layered feel to curtains, loose covers or occasional upholstery in rooms that need colour without heaviness.

The airy sage ground keeps the painterly florals fresh, so it works well for relaxed upholstery or softly tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
