Bracken Green shows a layered botanical print in soft, muted greens over a pale ground. The mix of leafy silhouettes and fine fern detail gives the design a calm, woodland feel.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230gsm fabric has enough substance for soft furnishings while still suiting curtains and blinds. The usable width is 138cm, with a full width of 145cm, and the design repeats every 34.5cm horizontally and 48.69cm vertically. In this colourway, the greens read as fresh but subdued, with olive and bracken tones sitting over a creamy base rather than a stark white. The leaf print has a painterly, organic edge, and the overall effect is relaxed rather than sharp or high-contrast. It is dry clean only and iron safe, making it practical for made-up window treatments and decorative upholstery pieces.

How to use it

Use it in a room with pale oak, linen textures and warm neutral paint to keep the greenery feeling soft and natural. It works especially well on relaxed curtains, cushions or a feature armchair where the botanical scale can be appreciated.

Pair with natural woods and quiet plains to let the layered leaf print stand out.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bracken green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
