Chambery green

Chambery Fabricchamber/fa1/mnt

Chambery Green shows a fresh mint-green ground scattered with softly drawn white floral bursts. The print feels airy and cheerful, with the linen-cotton texture giving the colour a gently softened finish.

About this fabric

Part of the Chambery collection by Voyage Maison, this fabric is composed of 90% cotton and 10% linen and is supplied at 140cm wide with a 140cm width and 100cm height sample specification. The pattern repeats every 20cm horizontally and 22.9cm vertically, creating a lively all-over floral rhythm that reads clearly on the pale green background. The white motifs sit crisply against the mint tone, giving the design a fresh, lightly vintage look rather than a high-contrast graphic one. It is suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, and the dry-clean-only finish suits decorative interior use.

How to use it

Use Chambery Green in a sunroom, bedroom or cottage-style sitting room where its cool mint tone can brighten natural wood and painted joinery. It works especially well with white or oatmeal upholstery and simple, tailored curtain headings.

Pair with pale woods and chalky neutrals to let the fresh mint ground and white floral motif stay light and uplifting.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chambery green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
