Verbena green

Botanical Stories Fabricverbena/fa1/lin

Verbena Green brings a calm, washed sage backdrop to the Botanical Stories design, letting the fern and leaf motifs sit softly across the cloth. The print feels airy and natural, with the pale ground keeping the greens light rather than heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 140cm-wide fabric has a natural, softly textured handle that suits relaxed interiors. The Botanical Stories motif is spread out in a large repeat, with fern fronds and leafy stems in layered greens that read fresh, muted and slightly earthy against the pale ground. In Verbena Green, the palette feels cooler and more understated than a bright herb tone, giving the design a gentle, lived-in character. It is dry clean only, iron safe, and should not be bleached, softened or tumble dried; there are no fire-retardant performance features noted.

How to use it

Use Verbena Green on Roman blinds, cafe curtains or a tailored occasional chair where the soft sage ground can brighten the room without overpowering it. It pairs neatly with pale timber, limestone, and other quiet greens for a fresh, botanical scheme.

A fresh sage-ground botanical that works beautifully across loose upholstery and easygoing curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
