Botanical Stories Fabricverbena/fa1/mul

Verbena Brown shows a soft, warm beige ground with scattered botanical sprigs in muted green, taupe and brown. The palette feels calm and gently aged, letting the airy pattern sit quietly across the surface.

About this fabric

From Voyage Maison’s Botanical Stories collection, this fabric is made in 95% cotton and 5% linen and has a 140cm width. The cloth appears as a light, matte woven base with a natural-looking slub, which suits the dry-clean-only care and Iron Safe finish. In this colourway, the ground reads as a mellow beige rather than a strong brown, while the leaf motifs carry subdued moss, olive and earthy russet tones. The horizontal repeat of 45.67cm and vertical repeat of 53.71cm give the design a comfortably spaced rhythm that feels decorative without becoming busy.

How to use it

Use Verbena Brown where you want a botanical with warmth but no heaviness: it works well on relaxed curtains, Roman blinds, or a tailored armchair. Its muted beige background pairs easily with painted timber, chalky greens and textured neutrals.

A softly toned botanical that brings an easy, natural feel to both curtains and light upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
