About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a natural matte handle that suits its gently rustic botanical print. The usable width is 138cm, with a 69cm horizontal repeat and a 34.52cm vertical repeat, so the trailing stems and flower sprays can be planned neatly across curtains or blinds. At 230gsm it sits comfortably in the dress-weight to medium category, giving enough substance for soft furnishings while still draping well. The Aileana Purple colourway combines dusty mauve with sage, olive and chalky off-white details, creating a calm, softly aged finish rather than a vivid floral look. It is dry clean only and iron safe, with no fire-retardant treatment noted.

How to use it

Use it for relaxed curtains or Roman blinds where the muted purple ground can add colour without feeling overpowering. It works especially well with limewashed walls, weathered oak and linen upholstery in cream, taupe or soft green.

Pair with natural woods and chalky neutrals to let the mauve ground and meadow-style print feel soft and inviting.
