Bracken brown

Bracken Fabricbracken/fa1/sie

Bracken Brown pairs a softly faded beige ground with layered leaf forms in warm brown and mulberry-toned shadow. The result is a woodland print that feels earthy, lived-in and gently decorative.

About this fabric

This Bracken fabric is a 95% cotton, 5% linen textile with a 230gsm weight and a usable width of 138cm, making it a practical mid-weight choice for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The print shows overlapping fern fronds, stems and broad leaves in deep brown shades across a pale mushroom-beige ground, giving the design a natural, slightly weathered look. Its 34.5cm horizontal repeat and 48.69cm vertical repeat support a bold, flowing arrangement that reads clearly from a distance. The colourway feels warm rather than cool, with muted cocoa and tawny notes that soften the botanical pattern. It is dry clean only and iron safe.

How to use it

Use Bracken Brown where you want a grounded, autumnal palette that still has movement and detail. It works especially well with oak, russet leather and natural linens, or as a drapery fabric to add warmth against painted walls.

Use for drapes or statement upholstery where you want a warm, earthy woodland feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
