Buttermere multi
Countryimpressions Fabricbutterm/fa1/swe
Buttermere Multi layers a painterly country scene across a soft, fabric-woven ground, with sheep, trees and rolling hills picked out in misty pastel washes. The palette feels light and airy, with gentle greens, blush pinks, lavender and aqua giving the design a fresh, scenic character.

About this fabric
Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a natural handle and a softly relaxed surface that suits decorative window treatments and light soft furnishings. The scene repeats in a generous 68cm horizontal by 67.5cm vertical pattern repeat, so the pastoral motif has room to breathe across larger drops. Visually, Buttermere Multi balances cool aqua bands with warm meadow greens and chalky pink tree canopies, creating a dreamy countryside effect rather than a high-contrast print. At 230gsm and 136cm usable width, it is a practical choice for curtains and blinds where the illustrated landscape can be shown off clearly.
How to use it
Use Buttermere Multi for relaxed curtains, Roman blinds or cushion panels in a country-inspired room. Its soft pastel mix works especially well with pale timber, washed whites and muted sage accents.
Pair with plain linens or soft painted woods so the pastoral scene stays the focus.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Buttermere multi without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
