Carneum pink

Edenmuir Fabriccarnean/fa1/ras

Carneum Pink shows a delicate botanical scene washed in airy lilac and blush tones over a pale ground. The design feels painterly and light, with the pink flower clusters giving the fabric a gentle focal point.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230 gsm fabric has enough body for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings while still reading soft and refined. The visible ground is a light, cool grey-beige that lets the botanical print sit quietly before the pinks, mauves and soft green leaf tones come forward. Slender stems and layered leaves create a large-scale pattern with a romantic, slightly relaxed feel, and the 46.5cm horizontal repeat and 82.5cm vertical repeat support the generous spacing of the design. It is dry clean only and iron safe, making it a practical decorative cloth for well-finished window treatments and upholstery accents.

How to use it

Use Carneum Pink where you want a soft floral with a cool, modern edge; it works especially well with pale oak, chalky paint colours and brushed brass. The lilac-pink blossoms lift neutral rooms without overpowering them.

A dreamy floral for elegant curtains or a statement occasional chair.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
