About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a natural cloth handle that suits both drapery and lighter upholstery projects. The printed botanical pattern uses long fern-like fronds and airy leaf shapes, repeated across a soft ivory ground with a horizontal repeat of 46 and a vertical repeat of 68.8. In this colourway, the blues read cool and diluted rather than saturated, with hints of seafoam, lavender-grey and pale chartreuse adding movement. Spot clean only care and iron safe finishing make it practical for decorative interiors where a fresh, relaxed palette is wanted.

How to use it

Use Colwin Blue on relaxed curtains, Roman blinds or a feature chair where the pale blue and sea-green tones can lift a neutral scheme. It pairs especially well with weathered oak, chalk paint finishes and soft linen upholstery.
