Farley Grey shows a delicate floral pattern worked into a cool, pearly ground with a softly reflective finish. The design reads light and airy, while the woven detail gives it a polished, textured presence.

About this fabric

Woven in 19% Cotton, 26% Polyester and 55% Viscose, this fabric has a substantial 498gsm handle and is supplied 137cm wide, making it well suited to curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The 16,000 Martindale rating and 3,000 shade change note indicate a decorative textile intended for residential use rather than heavy upholstery. Visually, the grey is pale and silvery rather than dark or slate-toned, with the floral motif emerging gently from the surface instead of sitting in sharp contrast. Its dry-clean-only finish and dry-iron care suit it to tailored window treatments that benefit from a crisp but relaxed drape.

How to use it

Use Farley Grey where you want a calm, cool note that won’t dominate the room: it works especially well as curtains against painted timber, stone, or white walls. The soft pearly tone flatters silver, oak and charcoal accents, while the subtle floral texture adds interest without heaviness.

A cool pearl-grey floral with a softly woven sheen, ideal for elegant curtains and refined soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
