Pebble brown

Diffusionweaves Fabricpebble2/fa1/mnk

Pebble Brown presents a softly mottled animal-style spot in a muted brown ground with pale, chalky highlights. The overall effect is earthy and understated, with a gently textural look rather than a high-contrast statement.

About this fabric

This colourway in the Diffusionweaves collection reads as a warm, weathered pebble brown, lifted by irregular ivory specks that break up the surface and give the cloth visual movement. The fabric is composed of 55% viscose, 26% polyester and 19% cotton, and it is suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery. With a Martindale rating of 15,000, it offers useful durability for domestic seating as well as softer furnishings, while the 137cm usable width supports practical making-up. Dry clean only, with iron-safe care, this is a compact patterned cloth with a 17.5cm horizontal repeat and 13cm vertical repeat.

How to use it

Use it to bring warmth to a neutral scheme, especially alongside natural timber, linen and stone finishes. Its muted brown base and fine pale spotting sit well with tan leather, mushroom paint shades and brass details.

A versatile tonal neutral with a subtle, pebble-like spot that works well across seating and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
