Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a relaxed natural handle and a soft, dry-looking surface that suits decorative window treatments and light soft furnishings. The print shows a repeated village scene with tiny houses, shopfronts, trees, cyclists and cars, all drawn in airy pastel shades with plenty of white ground between the motifs. The overall effect is fresh rather than bold: greens, blush pinks, pale blues and warm terracotta accents read gently against the linen-blend base. With a 68cm horizontal repeat and 73.5cm vertical repeat, the design has a generous pictorial scale that works especially well where the pattern can be seen and enjoyed. It is dry clean only and can be cool ironed.
