About this fabric
This colourway reads as a very pale, cool grey with soft white ground and flashes of muted coral, taupe, black and warm ochre in the koi markings. The design is printed on a substantial fabric with a 730gsm weight and a 75% polyester, 25% viscose composition, giving it enough body for upholstery as well as curtains and blinds. The broad 66.5cm horizontal repeat and 49cm vertical repeat help the fish feel generously spaced, while the brushed, watercolour-style edges keep the pattern from feeling sharp or busy. Dry clean only and do not iron, so it is best suited to considered interiors where the relaxed painted effect can be preserved.
How to use it
Use this mist-grey colourway to soften larger furnishings, especially when you want the koi artwork to read like a quiet statement rather than a loud motif. It sits well with pale oak, stone, and gentle terracotta accents, which pick up the warmer flecks in the design.
