About this fabric

This colourway shows a pale grey ground with a cool, chalky cast and a gently mottled weave that softens the surface without adding pattern. Woven in 54% polyester and 46% cotton, it has the reassuring body you would expect from a severe contract fabric, while still keeping a relaxed textile feel. The 140cm width and 50,000 severe contract rub test make it suitable for demanding upholstery projects as well as drapes. At 340gsm, it sits in a versatile mid-to-heavy weight range that helps this subdued grey hold its shape neatly on furniture and hang with presence at the window.

How to use it

Use Lunar Mineral on a sofa, banquette or headboard where its pale grey tone can keep the room feeling open and calm. It also works well for full-length curtains in a scheme of white, putty and soft oak, where the cool neutrality can quietly lift the palette.
