About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted lilac-mulberry note, cooler than a berry red and gentler than a true plum, which gives it a quiet, upholstered look. The plain weave has a fine horizontal slub and a soft, dry handle in appearance, so the cloth feels understated rather than glossy. Made from 54% polyester and 46% cotton, it is specified for Severe Contract Upholstery And Drapes and carries a 50,000 Severe Contract rub test, confirming it is built for demanding interiors. At 140cm wide and 459 grams per linear metre, it presents as a substantial contract textile with enough body for seating and enough fall for drapery. Originating in India, it is a practical plain that still brings a delicate, contemporary colour to the room.

How to use it
